I Love LA": HBO's New Series Starring Rachel Sennott Premieres November 2nd

HBO's upcoming series starring Rachel Sennott now has a title and release date. The show, titled "I Love LA," will follow a group of friends navigating life and love in Los Angeles. Rachel Sennott plays Maia, alongside Jordan Firstman as Charlie, Josh Hutcherson as Dylan, Odessa A'zion as Tallulah, and True Whitaker as Alani. The series will feature guest stars like Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, and Elijah Wood. The eight-episode season will be directed by Sennott, Lorene Scafaria, Bill Benz, and Kevin Bray.

"I Love LA" was announced in fall 2024 with Sennott, Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, and Lorene Scafaria on board as executive producers. The show has drawn comparisons to "Girls" and "Insecure," two other HBO series that explore the lives of young adults in a city setting. Sennott aims to tell unique and comedic stories from a female perspective, avoiding clichés often associated with female characters written by men.

The series will premiere on Sunday, November 2 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available for streaming on HBO Max. New episodes will be released weekly until the finale on Sunday, December 21. Stay tuned for more updates and behind-the-scenes images from the show.
