Anna Lambe and Zorga Qaunaq, known for their roles in the Inuk comedy North of North, are set to star in Nyla Innuksuk's upcoming psychological thriller, In the Heart of the South. The film follows Yura Ivalu, played by Lambe, an ambitious Inuk multimedia artist whose life takes a dark turn when her childhood friend, Sesi Ilupaalik, portrayed by Qaunaq, reappears. As Yura grapples with her past trauma and identity, the story delves into themes of power, authenticity, and survival.

Shot in Hamilton, Ontario, and co-written by Ryan Cavan, In the Heart of the South promises to be a gripping and personal narrative.
