Annie Stainer, a talented mime, dancer, and clown, rose to fame as a performer in David Bowie's extravagant Ziggy Stardust concert in 1972. The show, featuring elaborate sets and costumes, helped propel Bowie to stardom. Stainer's collaboration with Bowie extended beyond the concert, as she appeared in his music video and acted alongside him in theatrical productions. She later established herself as a solo artist, creating a dance trilogy inspired by myth and feminine archetypes.
