Bruce Dickinson's North American Tour Kickoff: Unveiling Rare Iron Maiden Classic and Teasing New Album

Bruce Dickinson kicked off his North American tour in Anaheim by surprising fans with a live performance of an Iron Maiden classic that had never been played live before. The song, "Flash Of The Blade," originally from the Powerslave album, was a special addition to his setlist, which mainly featured tracks from his solo albums. Dickinson also played a cover of Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein" and Iron Maiden's "The Alchemist" during the show.

In a recent interview, Dickinson shared his plans to start recording a new album as a follow-up to his 2024 release, The Mandrake Project. He has already written and demoed 18 songs for the upcoming album, which will showcase a range of heavy and emotional tracks. Dickinson expressed his excitement about the new material and mentioned that even Iron Maiden's Steve Harris praised the songs after hearing the demos.

Additionally, Dickinson reissued his second solo album, Balls To Picasso, under the title More Balls To Picasso. The reissue includes remixed versions of the original tracks and live-in-the-studio performances of "God Of War" and "Shoot All The Clowns." Meanwhile, Iron Maiden recently concluded the European leg of their 50th-anniversary tour, Run For Your Lives, with plans to continue the tour into 2026. Stay tuned for more updates on their upcoming tour dates.
