Michelle Nihei, a former neuroscience professor turned horse racing trainer, will lead Tropical Racing's training operation at Fair Hill. The purchase of the Parlo II barn from Michael Matz and Dr. Kathleen Anderson marks a significant milestone for Tropical Racing. Matz, a longtime figure at Fair Hill, has a rich history of training stakes winners, including classic champions like Barbaro and Union Rags.
