Exploring the Legacy of the Grand Ole Opry: A New Exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Carly Pearce and Vince Gill are set to launch the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's new Opry exhibit with a panel discussion on September 18. The exhibit, titled "The Grandest Stage: The Opry at 100," will be on display until March 2027 and will showcase various artifacts from the early days of the iconic radio show. Among the items featured are Minnie Pearl's famous straw hat from her debut in 1940.

One of the highlights of the exhibit will be the custom-made boots worn by Reba McEntire during her first performance on the Opry stage in September 1977. These boots were inspired by a pair worn by the legendary Patsy Cline. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to see the suit worn by Ella Langley during her Opry debut in February 2023.

Admission to the Opry exhibit is included with the museum ticket, and attendees can also join the panel discussion in the Ford Theater, although a ticket is required for entry. Seats can be reserved on the Hall's website starting on August 22.
