Rev Up for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series at Rockingham Speedway in 2026!
Rockingham Speedway is set to host the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series on April 3-4, 2026, following a successful weekend that saw a sellout crowd for NASCAR’s return to the track. Track Enterprises President, Bob Sargent, expressed excitement over NASCAR's decision to include Rockingham Speedway on the 2026 schedule after the overwhelming support received during the North Carolina Education 250 presented by Black’s Tire and the Black’s Tire 200.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series, soon to be known as the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, has a rich history at Rockingham Speedway, with legendary drivers like David Pearson, Dale Earnhardt Sr., and Mark Martin claiming victories at the venue. Martin, in particular, dominated the Xfinity Series races at Rockingham with 11 wins in 25 starts, including a remarkable four consecutive wins in the 1996 and 1997 seasons. Jamie McMurray also achieved a four-peat with wins from 2002-2004.
The recent North Carolina Education Lottery 250 presented by Black’s Tire saw Sammy Smith of JR Motorsports emerge victorious, becoming the 24th different winner in series history at Rockingham Speedway. The CRAFTSMAN Truck Series event, the Black’s Tire 200, was won by Tyler Ankrum in the series' third visit to the iconic oval.
