Ohio Men's Basketball to Compete in the Sixth Annual Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach

Ohio Men's Basketball will be participating in the sixth annual Sunshine Slam, with matchups scheduled for November 24-25 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. The team will first face Bethune Cookman in Athens on November 19 before heading to Florida to play against George Mason on November 24 at 6 p.m. ET, with the game broadcasted on CBS Sports Network. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Ticketmaster.com or on the day of the event at the Ocean Center box office.
The Sunshine Slam format includes semifinal round games on November 24 and championship and consolation games on November 25 for both the Beach and Ocean brackets. The champions of each bracket will be crowned, and all-tournament teams will be announced. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the Beach Bracket games, while Ocean Bracket games will be available for streaming on BallerTV ($$).
In addition to the games at the Ocean Center, the Sunshine Slam will feature four on-campus games, with each Beach Bracket team hosting an Ocean Bracket team before the event. The schedule for the event includes matchups for both the Beach and Ocean brackets on November 24 and 25.
The Beach Bracket games on November 24 will feature George Mason vs. Ohio at 6:00 PM EST and FAU vs. LMU at 8:30 PM EST, both airing on CBS Sports Network. The Ocean Bracket games will be streamed on BallerTV ($$). The event will conclude with the championship and consolation games for both brackets on November 25.
Campus games leading up to the Sunshine Slam include matchups between Jacksonville and George Mason, Bethune Cookman and Ohio, Pacific and FAU, and Stony Brook and LMU. The Gazelle Group, a sports marketing firm, is responsible for organizing the Sunshine Slam, along with other college sports events across the country. The Northeast Conference is the sponsoring conference for the Sunshine Slam, now in its 44th season.
