Remembering Yarely Ashley Hermosillo: A Tribute to a Beloved Influencer
Influencer Yarely Ashley Hermosillo tragically passed away in a shooting incident on August 15 at the age of 27. She was a popular content creator based in Arizona, known for sharing cooking and lifestyle content on her social media platforms, where she had amassed a following of over 300,000 people on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Reports from local news outlets AZFamily and 12News revealed that Glendale police have arrested Jesus Preciado Dousten, 33, in connection to Hermosillo's death. Dousten allegedly fired a shot from his pickup truck during an argument with another driver at a red light, unintentionally hitting Hermosillo in the head while she was a passenger in a separate vehicle driven by her boyfriend.
Hermosillo was rushed to the hospital by her boyfriend, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Fortunately, her young son and mother, who were also in the vehicle at the time of the incident, were unharmed. Police were able to identify Dousten as the suspect through video footage and subsequently arrested him after recovering two handguns from a Glendale residence.
Dousten is currently held on a $1 million bond and faces charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, misconduct involving weapons, and endangerment. A GoFundMe campaign initiated by Hermosillo's family aims to raise funds for her funeral expenses and pays tribute to her as a loving wife, devoted mother, and a beautiful soul whose presence touched many lives.
The heartfelt tribute acknowledges Hermosillo's deep love for her family, especially her 4-year-old son, and expresses gratitude for the outpouring of support from the community. The family is thankful for the prayers, shares, and donations made in honor of Hermosillo, as they navigate through this difficult time. They hope to keep her memory alive through the love she shared so generously and find solace in knowing that her soul rests in peace.
