This marked a 4% increase from the previous record set in 2024.
The highlight of the weekend was the Manchester United-Arsenal match on Sunday, which attracted an average of 2.0 million viewers on NBC, Peacock, and NBC Sports Digital platforms. This match became the most-watched opening weekend match ever in the U.S. and the second most-watched Premier League match in U.S. history, following the Manchester City-Arsenal match in March 2024.
When including Telemundo's coverage, the Manchester United-Arsenal match reached a Total Audience Delivery of 2.3 million viewers, making it the second most-watched match in U.S. history, including Spanish-language viewership.
