Garth Brooks Surprises Luke Combs with a Blue Bronco Raptor: A Gesture of Gratitude

Garth Brooks showed his appreciation to Luke Combs for participating in his Songwriter’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony by gifting him a blue Bronco Raptor. Combs shared the surprising story on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast, recounting how his manager arrived at his house unannounced with the luxury vehicle, revealing that the gift was from Brooks himself.
The 35-year-old country singer was taken aback by the generous gesture, as he had not known Brooks well at the time. The car, estimated to be worth around $90,000, was a token of Brooks’ gratitude for Combs’ performance of his hit song “The Beaches of Cheyenne” at the Nashville Songwriters Awards in 2022.
Despite not having spoken to Brooks since the ceremony, Combs immediately reached out to express his gratitude for the thoughtful gift. The delay in receiving the Bronco was due to it being on hold, causing it to take about a year to arrive.
Combs appreciated Brooks’ acknowledgment of his commitment to the event, as the singer pointed out that Combs could have booked a show and earned money instead. The exchange between the two country stars exemplifies the support and camaraderie within the country music community.
