Metallica Rumored to Consider Las Vegas Sphere Residency as Iron Maiden Stays True to Live Show Experience

Iron Maiden, known for their epic metal performances, has no plans to perform at the Las Vegas Sphere despite its cutting-edge technology. Frontman Bruce Dickinson emphasized that the band values the connection with their audience and believes the venue's technical specifications would not enhance their live show experience. While other artists have embraced the Sphere's advanced features, Dickinson expressed concerns about the relevance of a live band in such a high-tech setting.

Although Iron Maiden won't be gracing the Sphere stage, rumors suggest that Metallica might consider a residency at the venue. Drummer Lars Ulrich hinted at the band's interest in the venue, praising its capabilities and expressing a desire to perform there after their 2026 tour. While nothing is confirmed yet, Ulrich's enthusiasm for the idea indicates that Metallica could potentially bring their iconic metal sound to the Las Vegas Sphere in the future.
