Presley Family Feud: Priscilla Presley Faces Accusations in Lisa Marie Trust Dispute

Priscilla Presley is currently facing accusations from her former business partners, who claim that she made the decision to end her daughter Lisa Marie Presley's life support in order to gain control of the Presley family name and estate. Lisa Marie, the daughter of Priscilla and the late Elvis Presley, passed away in January 2023 at the age of 54 after experiencing cardiac arrest at her home in California. The heads of Priscilla Presley Partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, are suing Priscilla for breach of contract and fraud, seeking damages of at least $50 million.
According to the lawsuit, Priscilla allegedly wanted to control her daughter's trust and Graceland, the iconic mansion in Memphis once owned by Elvis Presley. The lawsuit claims that Priscilla knew Lisa Marie intended to remove her as the sole trustee and took action to prevent this by making the decision to end her daughter's life support shortly after she was admitted to the hospital. Priscilla's attorney, Marty Singer, has strongly condemned the lawsuit, calling it "shameful" and "salacious."
The lawsuit further alleges that Priscilla quickly took control of the narrative surrounding Lisa Marie's death and pressured one of her business partners to issue a statement portraying her as the grieving matriarch. It is also claimed that Priscilla was supposed to stop using the Presley surname following her divorce from Elvis in 1973. Lisa Marie inherited the estate in 1993, but after her death, a legal battle ensued over the trustee position, with Riley Keough eventually being granted sole ownership of the estate in 2023.
The lawsuit also suggests that Lisa Marie had a strained relationship with her mother and had considered taking legal action against her over the trust before her passing. The allegations made by Kruse and Fialko paint a complex picture of family dynamics and estate disputes within the Presley family. The legal battle between Priscilla and her former business partners continues to unfold, shedding light on the intricacies of the Presley family legacy and the challenges that come with managing such an iconic estate.
