Drake Seeks Documents on Allegations of Violence Involving Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free

Drake has recently requested documents regarding allegations of violence against women involving Kendrick Lamar and the nature of Dave Free's relationship with Lamar. The ongoing feud between the two rappers escalated in early 2024 when Drake's fans brought up a 2014 accusation of Lamar assaulting a woman at a Las Vegas hotel. Despite the lack of arrests, Lamar denied the allegations during an interview on The Breakfast Club in April 2014.
DJ Akademiks reported on August 12 that Drake is seeking information on allegations of violence against women, including domestic abuse claims involving Lamar's fiancée, Whitney Alford. The feud between the rappers intensified with the release of diss tracks, such as Drake's "Family Matters," where he accused Lamar of infidelity with Alford and having a child with his childhood friend, Dave Free.
Dave Free, a record producer and filmmaker, was a close friend of Lamar and part of Top Dawg Entertainment before departing in 2019. In another diss track, "The Heart Part 6," Drake reiterated the allegations against Lamar and claimed that Lamar was physically abusive towards Alford. Despite the public accusations, Lamar and Alford have not responded to the claims. The couple shares two children, a daughter named Uzi and a son named Enoch, and have been together since their teenage years in Compton, California.
The ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has sparked controversy and speculation within the music industry and among fans. As the situation continues to unfold, the allegations and tensions between the two rappers remain at the forefront of public attention.
