Electric Night in New Jersey: My Chemical Romance Rocks MetLife Stadium and Receives Key to the City

My Chemical Romance put on an electrifying performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Saturday night as part of their Long Live The Black Parade Tour. The band, all hailing from New Jersey, received the key to the city from Belleville Mayor Michael Melham during the show. They remained in character throughout the presentation, offering symbolic gifts to the mayor. The concert included a full performance of The Black Parade album, as well as other hits from the band's discography. The night ended with a lively rendition of Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer," a song Gerard Way referred to as the "New Jersey state anthem." The band's next stop is Philadelphia on Friday.
