The Spanish Previews section awarded the Antaviana Spanish Previews Award to "Lóngquán: The Dragon Spring" by Adrià Guxens, a film that explores themes of identity and family. The Alliance 4 Development program recognized outstanding projects with awards such as the Masé Studio Award and the Masé Studio Post-Production Award. Notable winners included "Chocolat amer" by Valentin Merz and "Im Verborgenen" by Goran Rebić.
Special mentions were given to projects like "Primo Viaggio" and "Najma et Salomé," which received script consultancy residencies. The MidPoint Consulting Award was presented to "Das Blühen einer Chimäre" by Simon Maria Kubiena for its thematic approach and emotional depth. The Ticino Film Commission Residence Award supported the project "Solastalgia" by Yosr Gasmi and Mauro Mazzocchi, highlighting the impact of environmental changes on communities.
The Locarno Heritage Restoration Contest recognized the film "Letter From My Village" by Safi Faye, showcasing the preservation of cultural heritage through film restoration. The awards ceremony celebrated the diversity and creativity of the film industry, highlighting innovative projects and emerging talents.
