Bob Dylan may be working on a new studio album, as he and his band were spotted at White Lake Studios in Colonie, New York, for two days. The studio team ensured privacy and discretion during Dylan's visit, which was not publicly disclosed. White Lake Studios is a multi-room recording and audio post-production facility with a staff of 18 people, known for providing services to major television series.

David Bourgeois, the CEO of White Lake Studios, expressed pride in hosting Dylan and his band, emphasizing the studio's commitment to making artists feel at home. Dylan's most recent studio album, Rough & Rowdy Ways, was released in June 2020, and he also released a new album, Shadow Kingdom, in 2023. The press release did not confirm if Dylan was recording a new album during his visit.

Dylan's visit to White Lake Studios coincided with a break in the 2025 Outlaw Music Festival Tour, where he is performing at all stops alongside headliner Willie Nelson. The tour recently had shows in New Hampshire and New York, with Dylan performing his song "Masters of War" live for the first time since 2016. The current leg of the tour will conclude in Pennsylvania and New York before resuming in Maine in September.

Following the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, Dylan will embark on a fall European headlining tour starting in Finland and ending in Dublin. He also collaborated with Barbra Streisand on her duets album, The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two, featuring a rendition of the classic song "The Very Thought of You." Fans are eagerly awaiting any news of a potential new studio album from the legendary musician.
