The incident, which inspired a scene in their new show, The Studio, involved the duo realizing they were still on mushrooms on their way to the interview. Despite trying to come down with coffee, they ended up high during the interview in Maron's guesthouse studio. The podcast episode, which originally aired in 2013, did not mention the mushrooms until Rogen recently shared the story on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The pair managed to go through with the interview, with Rogen admitting he's too scared to listen to it now.
