Country music stars Brad Paisley and Emmylou Harris are set to be honored with induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. The prestigious organization also announced the inclusion of Steve Bogard, Tony Martin, Jim Lauderdale, and Don Cook in various songwriter categories. The formal induction ceremony will take place on October 6 at the 55th Anniversary Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala at the Music City Center.

Brad Paisley, a multi-Grammy award-winning artist, is celebrated for his songwriting talents, with numerous hits to his credit, including "He Didn’t Have To Be," "Alcohol," and "Remind Me." Emmylou Harris, a revered folk singer-songwriter, boasts an impressive 13 Grammy Awards and is known for songs like "Boulder To Birmingham" and "White Line."

Steve Bogard has penned hits for artists like George Strait and Rascal Flatts, while Tony Martin's songwriting credits include tracks for Jason Aldean and Keith Urban. Jim Lauderdale, known for his own songs as well as those he's written for others, and Don Cook, recognized for his contributions to artists like T. Graham Brown and Brooks & Dunn, complete the distinguished lineup of inductees.

The announcement was made by Rich Hallworth and Mark Ford at Nashville’s Columbia Studio A, with Hallworth expressing gratitude to the songwriters for sharing their artistry. The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame continues to honor and celebrate the contributions of talented songwriters in the music industry.
