Explore the Universe with Second Lady Usha Vance: Summer Reading Challenge Event at NASA's Johnson Space Center
Join Second Lady Usha Vance and astronaut Suni Williams at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Texas for a Summer Reading Challenge event. Vance will engage children with a space-themed book reading and interactive activities. The event is set to kick off at 2:45 p.m. as part of Vance's initiative to inspire students in grades K-8 to explore the wonders of reading. Participants are encouraged to read 12 books of their choice from June 1 to September 5 and can track their progress using a reading log available on the White House's website. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate, a small prize, and a chance to win a trip to Washington, D.C.
