Albany Police Arrest Two Individuals in High-Speed Race on Washington Avenue Extension
Early Sunday morning, police in Albany, New York, arrested two individuals following a high-speed race on the Washington Avenue Extension. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. when officers observed multiple vehicles racing down the road near Route 155. The drivers, identified as 25-year-old Nathan Wood from Albany and 18-year-old Preston O'neil from Nassau, NY, were apprehended, and their vehicles were impounded for evidence. Wood and O'neil were each charged with Illegal Speed Contest and Speed not Reasonable and Prudent. Both drivers received appearance tickets and are set to appear in court at a later date.
